Boost Awards Inc Privacy Statement
Boost Awards is committed to ensuring the security of your information and has developed a privacy statement together with supporting data protection processes to give you peace of mind.
The following discloses our information-gathering and dissemination practices for this site.
Boost Awards gathers three types of non-financial information:
- Contact details including demographic (name, job title, postal code etc.) and preference information, which members provide when they choose to join our mailing list, or which we receive as a result of licensing a mailing database.
- Awards organiser contact details, which are provided when they register their awards for our database, contact us, or publish contact details on their awards website.
- Usage information that is automatically provided by each user’s browser for each page requested on our site (commonly referred to as website log data).
Boost Awards will not disclose any individual user’s name, address, e-mail address or telephone number without such user’s prior consent, except to the extent necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable laws or in legal proceedings where such information is relevant.
Our site’s registration forms require users to give us contact information (e.g. their e-mail address). If provided, we may use this contact information from the registration form to send the member information about our company and occasional promotional material.
Anyone we send marketing communications to may, however, opt out of receiving unsolicited mailings. Instructions are added as a matter of process to all bulk communications.
Boost Awards is the sole owner of the personal information collected from this site. We will not sell or rent this information to others. The only exception to this is where we share contact details when people need help getting in touch with awards organisers.
Boost Awards sells workshops and software over the internet.
- Boost Awards does not store, online or offline, any credit or debit card details of its customers.
- Once any transaction is complete, Boost Awards will destroy any and all online or offline credit or debit card details provided by its customers.
If a user wishes to subscribe to our monthly Award Alerts, we ask for contact information such as name and email address.
This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. No personal information is held on our internet server, and your information is protected on our company computers. If you have any questions about the security of our website, please contact us.
We use users’ current Internet Protocol (IP) addresses – an address typically assigned to individual browsers by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) – to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website. We also collect and analyse referrer data (information about the page at which you entered our site) to evaluate the sources of our traffic. Log data is also analysed to determine traffic patterns through our site. Overall statistics of browser-supplied information such as browser type and domain name are collected and analysed in an aggregate manner.
A cookie is a small text file written to a user’s hard drive that contains the User ID. The cookies do not contain any personal information about users.
Our website uses session cookies only.
This website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that Boost Awards is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be diligent when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of these third-party sites. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Website.
